In a nutshell, the multi position tuner is multiple single tunes bundled into one package. Via the attached switch, the tunes can be changed as desired. Each position on the switch enables an entirely different tune file.

These files control all engine and transmission logic, so both engine and automatic transmission operation can be different in each one.

The multi position tuner ONLY works for 1995 and 1995 6.5L turbo diesel vehicles that have a removable EEPROM chip (tune)

• 2024 and Older = Digital LCD switch, 2-1/16" gauge form factor

• 2022 and Older = Digital LCD Switch, Rectangle box form factor

• 2025 and Later = Rotary Knob Switch (SOTF)

  • This is the only option currently available

You can switch while the engine is running but we recommend doing it during low load or idle conditions only.

This is just to be overly cautious and safe as to not quickly switch timing, fueling or transmission logic while the engine is under stress.
