Glow Plug Heat Shields

Quadstar's stainless glow plug heat shields are made to be upgraded versions of the stock fitment.
This means they are built to fit the stock exhaust manifold hardware which is a stud with a retained nut on it. This spaces the heat shield out approximately 3/8" from the exhaust manifold.
When using the ARP exhaust manifold bolt kits, the heat shields will need to be trimmed because that 3/8" spacer isn't present. simply trim some length of the long end of the tubes and the problem is solved! You'd have to do the same modification if installing stock glow plug heat shields with ARP hardware.
